Flagship Electromagnetic Conditioning

At the heart of the SRX PowerCell 14 are seven large-format SRX Electromagnetic Cells-each hand-built, air-dielectric, and precision-encased in carbon fiber, and five times larger than those in the standard PowerCell 14. These cells represents the same comprehensive, from-the-ground-up redesign as our SRX PowerCell, utilizing identical geometry, materials, and UEF compounds to deliver unprecedented dynamics across the entire frequency spectrum, a dramatically lower noise floor, and holographic realism that redefines what’s possible in power conditioning.

These remarkable EM Cells perform a dual function – not only do they provide unparalleled power conditioning, but they also serve as massive supercapacitors. This critical capability allows the SRX PowerCell 14 to store and deliver peak current that surpasses what a standard 20A wall circuit can provide. The result? Even the most power-hungry amplifiers exhibit heightened dynamics and more precise leading-edge transients when connected to the SRX PowerCell 14 than when plugged directly into the wall.

14 Fully Isolated Outlets

Strategic implementation is as crucial as raw power. The SRX PowerCell 14 distributes its seven immense EM Cells across three separate, isolated banks of Pink Quantum Outlets — along with two 5 V LPS USB outputs are also available to power FEQs, Atmospheres, or other accessories you may have — ensuring complete isolation between digital, analog, and high-current components. Each of the isolated outlets is star-grounded through pure silver internal wiring, with conductors identical to those found in the SRX loom of cables. This sophisticated architecture eliminates cross-contamination between different types of equipment, preserving the purity of the signal path from source to amplification while ensuring every component receives the purest, most dynamically unrestricted power possible—allowing your equipment to perform beyond what you thought possible.

Pure Silver Internal Wiring

To ensure energy can be transferred between the internal components to surpass 20A peak current, each SRX PowerCell 14 is assembled with point to point wiring consisting of nearly a pound of pure 6N silver totaling 30ft.

Re-engineered ULF and DC Biasing

ULF, in its most basic principle, is how we ‘reclock’ our music to the Schumann Resonance by passively addressing and filtering out ambient RF and extreme high frequency noise that would otherwise degrade sound. The SRX PowerCell 14 utilizes the SRX PowerCell’s power supply and ULF Field Generator, which improves upon the Galileo SX PowerCell in the following ways:
• We implement a reformulated Ultra Low-Frequency RF bias captured from learnings gleaned from our SRX PowerCell and Voodoo streamer/server development programs.
• The nature of how we bias ULF has dramatically changed.
•The way we integrate both ULF and DC into EM cells has also changed.
• The power supply that generates the DC bias to EM cells has been radically evolved.
• New 24k Gold UEF tuning circuits bring harmonic richness and enhanced musicality.
With these advancements, we are now able to precisely control the phase points between the frequencies used for bias. When selecting between the biases on the SRX PowerCell 14, they reflect SR’s most current understanding of ULF treatment and will deliver a more favorable, welcoming response to your music.

Three frequency bias, one perfect sound.
Blue (Default): This option offers a laid-back midrange with a linear transition of notes from low frequencies to midrange to highs, creating a large and enveloping sound stage.

Green: The midrange is slightly more forward compared to the Blue option, with a bit more bass emphasis.

Red: Convincingly portray large-scale performances and electronic music.

Grounding, Elevated

The internal power supply and ULF Generator included in the SRX PowerCell 14 are further enhanced with a UEF Ground Plane first developed for the Galileo SX PowerCell to lower the noise floor and increase soundstaging. And to take this performance to a higher level still there is the option to ground the SRX PowerCell 14 to one of our Active Ground Blocks which improves low-frequency weight and attack as it lowers the noise floor further still without sacrificing one of the duplexes, so you have the full 14 outlets to filter all components in your system without loss of current.

Form Elevates Function

Compared to the larger SRX PowerCell, the SRX PowerCell 14 chassis is a compact, purpose-built design. Its smaller form factor accommodates space considerations while continuing to deliver reference performance in a chassis that is mechanically and electromagnetically voiced. Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, carbon fiber and plexiglass, its design strategically dampens and directs mechanical resonance from the ambient environment, the energy created by your speakers and how that feeds back into the circuit, and the vibrations generated by the transformers in the unit. The material makeup, physical size, and windows into the unit optimize the efficiency and directivity of the electromagnetic fields generated by the EM cells to bring sound as close to life as possible.

9 Lighting options

You can even change the color and intensity of the light that illuminates both the front amp meter and a top circuit view window. Select between Galileo White, Synergistic Research Blue, Dante Red, and McIntosh Blue to match its lighting to the other components in your system. And if you prefer no light at all you can choose to be boring, it’s all up to you.
