During its one year development program, dozens of router boards were evaluated, searching for the best sounding circuit as a base to apply many SR specific technologies. Then, the award winning linear power supply was adapted, initially developed for the Limited Production Galileo PowerCell, plus a patented electromagnetic cell to condition AC entering the unit as well as the digital signal exiting the Network Router UEF. Next, a dual frequency ULF (Ultra Low Frequency) generator was incorporated with technology first developed for the FEQ Carbon, to actively shield and condition the entire unit with harmonics of the Earth’s Schuman Resonance. For the best possible shielding and control of mechanical vibrations, the active circuit is fitted to a chassis machined from a solid billet of aircraft aluminum with a carbon fiber cover for optimal resonance control. Important note: The Synergistic Research Network Router UEF does not include internal WiFi functionality. This deliberate omission ensures optimal performance by keeping the WiFi signal isolated from the Network Router. If your system requires a wireless connection (phone, tablet, etc.), it is necessary to connect a separate access point to the SR Network Router UEF.

A WiFi router is not the same as an access point. A WiFi router will not work. We have extensively tested various access points and found that different models seem to have minimal impact on overall performance. Two easy to set up recommendations are the TP-Link EAP610 and NETGEAR WiFi 6 Access Point (WAX214). When setting up your Access Point, set a different SSID than your existing home network.

Enter the new SR Network Router with UEF and Active EM Cell technology to close the gap between digital playback and state-of-the-art analog tapes and LPs. To accomplish this, all EM Cell and UEF Tech applications were combined with Galileo level chassis construction into a single component. EM Cell and UEF Tech to condition the digital signal? Check. Q. How does a Network Router UEF work?
A. The Network Router UEF utilizes a combination of advanced SR technologies and components to enhance its performance. It begins with a high-performance router circuit, which is integrated into a chassis made of a solid billet of aluminum and carbon fiber. The chassis is further enhanced with carbon fiber footers for vibration control. Internally, the router is equipped with an SR audio grade Linear Power Supply (similar to an SR LPS UEF), an Electromagnetic conditioning cell (similar to a Tranquility Pod), a ULF generator (similar to an FEQ Carbon), and a passive ground conditioner (similar to an SR Ground Block). Finally, the unit undergoes high voltage conditioning treatments and is fine-tuned using SR Carbon Tuning Discs placed strategically in specific locations inside.

A. For achieving the highest performance, we highly recommend utilizing both the Network Router UEF and an SR Ethernet Switch UEF together. Although the Network Router can be used to connect your components directly, the SR Network Router UEF and Ethernet Switch UEF are designed to do two different functions. The Network Router UEF creates an isolated network specifically designed for your audio system, separate from your smart devices, TVs, appliances, etc. While the SR Ethernet Switch UEF is designed to regenerate and duplicate the signal generated by the Network Router UEF. By combining the functionalities of both devices, you can attain the ultimate digital playback experience.

Q. Is the Network Router UEF difficult to install?
A. The Network Router UEF has been designed and configured to provide a plug-and-play experience, making the installation process as straightforward as possible. Here are the steps to follow: Connect your existing network (modem, router, or switch) to the “IN” port on the Network Router UEF. Next, connect either your switch (recommended) or your components directly to the Network Router UEF. If WiFi is required, set up and connect a WiFi access point to the Network Router UEF, and then connect your WiFi device to the access point.
